While transfer times may vary depending on the TLD and current registrar, most transfers are completed smoothly, often within a few days. Importantly, transferring your domain will not affect your hosting, and the nameservers will remain the same during the process.

Before You Begin the Transfer

To ensure a seamless transfer, it is essential to remove all restrictions on the domain and verify that your contact details are correct. The verification email will be sent to the administrative email associated with your domain, so make sure this is accurate. Additionally, you'll need to have your EPP code handy (retrievable from your current registrar).

In some cases, you may receive an email at your administrative email address asking you to approve the transfer. Click the approval link if you receive one. However, due to GDPR, this step is becoming less common, and you may not receive an approval email at all.

Now, wait for the transfer to complete. The transfer usually takes 5 to 7 days, and you'll receive an email once it’s successfully completed.
