How to Edit or Remove a CNAME Record in cPanel

You can easily edit or remove a CNAME record using cPanel's DNS Zone Editor, which allows you to manage your DNS records effectively.

Steps to Edit or Remove a CNAME Record:

• Log in to your cPanel account.

• In the Domains section, click on Zone Editor.

• Under Domains, find the options listed under Actions.

• Click on Manage.

• Locate the CNAME Record you want to edit or remove:

  • To edit, click on Edit, modify the details, and click on Save Record.

  • To remove, click on the Delete option.

  

Note: It may take anywhere from 12 to 24 hours for the changes to take effect worldwide.
