On this page
The Storage tab shows the drives already attached to your server, and it is where you ask for more. Asking is a request, not a purchase. Submitting the form opens a support ticket and the team replies to confirm size, price, and timing. Nothing is attached at the moment you submit.
What the tab shows
Each attached drive gets a row: Drive: A with the drive letter, the size in GB, a Primary badge on the boot disk, and the drive type where the hypervisor reports one.
The list is read only. There is no control on this tab to grow, shrink, detach, or reformat a drive.
Two states you may see instead of a drive list:
- Storage details appear once your server finishes provisioning. The server has not been built yet.
- No storage attached. No drive is being reported for this service.
Requesting more storage
Below the drive list sits the Add-on storage card, titled NVMe block storage. Pick the size first, because whatever the picker is set to is what the request carries into the ticket.
The picker offers preset chips at 50 GB, 100 GB, 250 GB, 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB, plus a slider that moves in 50 GB steps between 50 GB and 2 TB. Those are the sizes the control can express. They are not a statement of what is available in your region or on your plan, because the card renders on every server.
The figure above the picker is indicative and moves with the size you select. It is not a quote. The card says so directly:
Final pricing confirmed in the support ticket.
Pick a size
Use a preset chip or the slider. The size and the indicative monthly figure both update as you move it.
Open the request
Select Inquire. The dialog Request additional storage opens, showing the size you picked under Requested tier and the indicative figure under Quoted.
Say what you need
The Anything else? box is optional and takes up to 500 characters. It is the only free-text field in the request, so anything the team needs that is not auto-filled has to go here.
Submit
Select Open ticket. The panel creates the ticket and takes you straight to it.
What gets sent for you
You do not need to look anything up. The dialog states what it attaches:
Server name, ID, IP, and location will be auto-included.
The ticket also carries the size you picked, the indicative figure the card showed, and the contract product the service is billed under. The subject line is built from the size and the server name, so the ticket is identifiable in your ticket list without opening it.
The request asks the team to confirm pricing, a provisioning time, and how the new volume will be billed against the current period. Those answers come back in the reply. The panel does not know them.
What to include to get a useful answer first time
The notes box is where the round trip gets shorter. Worth covering:
- What the volume is for, for example database files, recordings, or backups of something running on the server.
- Whether it has to be a separate volume, or whether more room on the existing disk would do.
- Any deadline you are working to.
- Anything specific about billing, for example if you need it to line up with your current cycle rather than start mid-period.
After you submit
The ticket may open in a Sales or Billing queue rather than Support. That is expected. Reply on it the way you would on any other ticket.
If the panel cannot resolve a ticket department, the request fails and it tells you to email support directly instead.
