Every order you place is listed under Orders, whether it was paid, abandoned, or never got past a draft. The list is a record of what you ordered, not a place to act on it.

The Orders list

Four columns: Order #, Created, Status and Total. Before your first order the page reads No orders yet.

Total is tax inclusive: tax is inside that number, not added to it.

The list holds your 50 most recent orders, newest first. There is no paging, no date filter, and no search, so an older order eventually falls off the bottom. Invoices are the longer record: see Invoices.

Order statuses

The Status column shows the status code the billing system returns, in lowercase, rather than a friendly label. Three are worth knowing:

StatusWhat it means in the panel
draftNot yet fulfilled. Cancel is offered.
pendingNot yet fulfilled. Cancel is offered.
completeShown in green. No cancel action.

Other codes can appear, and they are passed through as the billing system returns them. The rule that matters is the one above: only draft and pending rows carry a Cancel button, which is why some rows have no action at all.

Requesting cancellation of an order

The Orders list. Status is the billing system's own lowercase code, and only the draft and pending rows carry Cancel; the complete order has no action at all. The numbers match steps 1 and 2 below. Totals are left out of this example. Example view.
  1. Find the order

Only a draft or pending order can be cancelled from here. If the row has no Cancel button, the order has moved past that point.

  2. Press Cancel

A dialog opens, headed Cancel order with the order number.

  3. Give a reason, if you want to

The Reason box is optional and is sent along with the request.

  4. Confirm

Cancel order submits the request. Keep order backs out and changes nothing.

The dialog Cancel opens. Reason is optional and goes with the request; Keep order closes the dialog and changes nothing. The numbers match steps 3 and 4. Example view.

This submits a cancellation request. The panel confirms that the request was sent, not that the order was cancelled. If the order needs to be gone by a particular time, or the status has not moved, open a ticket and quote the order number.

Cancelling an order is not the same as cancelling a service you already have. A server that is running and renewing is ended from the service itself: see Renewal and cancellation.

Paying for an order you did not finish

If you left checkout after the order was placed, go to Invoices, open the unpaid invoice and pay it there. That is the only route. Paying an invoice covers every method available on that screen.

Placing an order makes two things, one-way: a row under Orders, which has no way to pay it, and an unpaid invoice under Invoices, which is where it gets paid. An order that never reached checkout made neither, and is still in the basket. Illustration.

If you never reached checkout, nothing has been invoiced and your items are still sitting in your basket. Pick up from Placing an order.
